Brad Pitt is known for his good looks and excellent dialogue delivery in war films like Inglorious Bastards and Allied. When it came to the Netflix film War Machine, there is a new twist.

David Michod who has come from a list of short films and documentaries has directed war Machine. David has taken his career a notch higher with this satirical war film.

General Glen McMahon (Brad Pitt) has been assigned to end the Afghanistan war and with his successful career so far, all is meant to go smoothly until it is not. The zig zag from one military guy to another, his unusual way of talking and handling tasks and the sarcastic trio between Ben Kingsley (President Hamid Karzai), Reggie Brown (President Obama) and Tilda Swinton (representing Germany) is cool.

Based on the book The Operators by Michael Hastings, this satirical film is a good collection for militainment from Hollywood. If only this party would have real for Afghanistan then this “friendship war” would have finished off nicely.

War Machine is a good watch for Brad Pitt fans, his sarcastic attitude is always just around the corner and creeps up in style.
